Urban Fabric & Refab Cormorant

Puppet makers Emma Powell & Meg Buick created “Refab Cormorant”, an articulated cormorant puppet, during their time as Access Space artists in residence in December 2012. Read more at http://refabcormorant.wordpress.com

Brazilian artist and architect Gabriel Menotti used his 2012 “Urban Fabric” residency at Access Space to ask the question “Would you like to build another Sheffield?” He used Refabspace's rapid prototyping technologies to create a model of an imaginary Cultural Industries Quarter, as a means to foster critical dialogue.
