Pure Data Weekend Workshop with Marco Donnarumma

Saturday 1st March and Sunday 2nd March 2014

A full two day workshop with performer, sound and new media artist Marco Donnarumma, which will take you all the way from an introduction to hands on use of the software with external data input from sensors.

Pure Data is a free real-time graphical programming environment for audio, video, graphical processing and physical computing. Pure Data is the third major branch of the family of patcher programming languages known as Max (Max/FTS, ISPW Max, Max/MSP, jMax, etc.) originally developed by Miller Puckette and company at IRCAM. Pd is a free and multi-platform software. The course provides a theoretical and practical overview of the graphical programming environment and most common idioms.

The two day workshop costs £30.00 per person (to cover equipment costs). Lunch is not included, however tea, coffe and biscuits will be avilable free all day.

Times: on Sat 1st and Sunday 2nd March the workshop will start at 11am and finish around 5pm
