Since 2010 Access Space has been taking part in the Embroidered Digital Commons project by Ele Carpenter, as part of which people all over the world are stitching the definitions from a lexicon of terms describing the idea of the digital commons, originally written by Raqs Media Collective.
Our embroidery sessions are open to all and are a chance for people to have a break from the computer or busy daily schedule to learn or share a skill in an open and friendly group. Beginners to advanced welcome.
