Access Space visits Helsinki Pixelache

Access Space visited Helsinki earlier this month as part of research for next year’s planned “Do it Anyway” festival.

Access Space CEO James Wallbank and Creative Producer Jake Harries were accompanied by multimedia producer Russell Cavanagh for an intense weekend of networking and research as part of preparations for next year’s “Do it Anyway” event (planned for April – see http://test.access-space.org/2014/04/06/pixelache-2015-planning/).

Over 100 participants from across the globe descended on an island – Vartiosaari – situated just a few kilometres from Helsinki city centre. They were all there as part of the international Pixelache community.

Many useful contacts were made and several concepts explored. The visit was part of a requirement of EU funding that is going some of the way towards helping make “Do it Anyway” happen in Sheffield.
