Lauren Redhead and Alistair Zaldua will present work by themselves, Huw Morgan, and Sophie Stone, with whom they have worked closely. While usually they perform together
with organ and live electronics, in this set-up they combine the 5-string e-violin with electronics, synthesisers and small instruments, in a program of both fixed compositions
and improvisation and works that mix the two.

Lauren Redhead and Alistair Zaldua have worked together as a duet performing music for
organ and electronics for over ten years. They have been invited to perform in festivals
and venues in the UK and abroad including: Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival,
Only Connect, Stavanger (Norway), Tectonics Glasgow BBC, and Musikpodium, Zürich.
Their vox humana tour (2020), that comprised commissioned work by internationally-
based women composers was presented at the Ideas of Noise Festival, Birmingham, and
at Electric Spring, Huddersfield and in Bristol, and in November 2021 they toured 7 new
commissions on 5 different organs in Berlin. In April 2023 they have been invited to
perform Philippine/German composer Alan Hilario’s gigantic work An Berblinger’s
Prothese for organ, live electronics, e-violin, trombone quartet, and various percussion at
Ulm Münster, and the Hospital Kirche, Stuttgart.
