David Mair – Paintings

Over several years artist David Mair has experimented with various styles of painting, abstract, figurative and a combination of both. Several of the paintings touch on the subject of mental health others on the nature of facial expression, often with a humorous intent. All of the work attempts to draw attention to a notion of human individuality and personal freedom.
David has had no formal training in art other than a short course in Abstract Art at Chelsea School of Art.
