Soldering is a simple method for joining metals. It’s easy to do and it’s easy to learn.
Like most hand craft skills, you will learn quicker and achieve better results with some tuition from someone that’s has experience working with the process. It also takes some practice and an attention for safety. The aim of this workshop is to get you soldering creatively with confidence.
Beyond the basic technique, this workshop will allow participants to investigate two common uses for soldering:
- Electronics circuit construction
– including components and circuit boards - Wire object construction
– including forming and shaping
